"Let's Get this Party Started" - Kim & Jason's Wedding

It's a busy, BUSY time and the peak of wedding season at The Perfect Details! We took a mini-break for the Fourth of July and I was honored to be selected to sing with the Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra for the Fourth of July! Mother Nature cooperated and gave us HOT temperatures and a beautiful sunset to set the perfect backdrop for fireworks over Boston's skyline!
But before our mini-break, we were down in Newport, Rhode Island for a great wedding at one of our favorites venues, Belle Mer! Kim and Jason are the first of their friends to get married and the bar was certainly set HIGH!!
A special thanks to some of my favorite vendors that made up this great team: Rachael Berkowitz, (Hair and Makeup), Rentals Unlimited, Ormonde Productions, Stephen Maclone Photography for your fun wit and keeping the bride laughing, Mike Callahan of Black Tie Video, Beantown Band for ROCKING the house, Joslin and Stuart from Belle Mer and Stoneblossom for the magnificent florals and always setting the bar HIGH for quality and service! I also enjoyed meeting Rabbi Mann who officiated a great ceremony! Last but not least, thank you Deanna, my wonderful assistant for your help!!
In addition to Wedding Day Management, we designed the invitations, ceremony programs, place cards, table numbers, menu cards, candy bags, cocktail napkins, guest towels, amenity baskets and thank you cards. A special thank you to Michael Wluka, the bride's uncle for providing the beautiful picture frames for the place cards, table numbers, family photos, and candy buffet. I think it's so nice when you have friends and family that help contribute to the wedding. It makes it THAT much more special.
Kim's bridesmaids were terrific. They kept the bride hydrated and laughing and ON SCHEDULE! Those are happy words for a wedding planner! Thanks Pamela, Allison, Michaela, Olivia, Jillian and Jaime. Jaime, the maid of honor, was also a piano and voice student of mine years ago. It's really nice when your other worlds come full circle and you see your "little students" all grown up as beautiful and nice young adults.
After the wedding (literally the day after) Gary, the father of the bride, sent me the following lovely email.
Dear Donna,
I really want to say how much I appreciated what you did for us this weekend. As you could tell, I originally thought Audrey could do everything. I thought, who could do it better than her? Well you have proven me wrong! Without you, the wedding would have gone on but, not in anyway as perfect as you had made it. We didn't need to be told the wedding was fun, beautiful, and perfect. We could see the joy in everyone face. You were the maestro who took all of Audrey pieces and made sweet music out it. Audrey didn't miss a beat and it was because of your help. Especially on Wedding day when everything or anything could go wrong, I saw in my wife's state of mind, she was relaxed and able to enjoy everything that was about to take place. That was worth more to me than I could ask for and it was because of you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. It be our pleasure to recommend you highly to anyone who asks.
Warmest Regards,

Congratulations Kim and Jason!! It was so great to help you with your wedding!
