"Right Here Waiting for You: Diana and David"

Last month, on a very foggy and magical day, Diana and David got married at Belle Mer in Newport, Rhode Island! To say this was a Destination Wedding for my lovely couple is not an exaggeration as they travelled from Singapore to get married! Diana and David have family in New York City and Boston so Newport seemed like a great place to host a wedding for the two!

I always appreciate when couples trust me to help them with their special day and Diana and David really were GREAT at doing that! The result was a wedding that had all their favorites and everyone had a great time! I couldn't have done it without a great team that ANY bride would be lucky to have! Many thanks to Joyce Holland and her AMAZING team at Stoneblossom Florals for their AMAZING creations, Connie Miller from studioatticus for her amazing photography, the one and only Mike Callahan from Black Tie Video, the incredible DJ David Natola from Sound Decision, Mark and Marie Soliday for their UNBELIEVABLE cake from Confectionery Designs, Rachael Berkowitz for her makeup artistry, Ormonde Productions for providing uplighting and Rentals Unlimited for the fabulous linens.

We were happy to coordinate Diana's look in paper with table numbers, menu cards and place cards that looked great with the Navy, Sky Blue, Powder Pink and Fuschia.

Diana's cousin Peter was the officiant and also helped with many of the Chinese aspects of the wedding. Thank you Peter!! A big thank you to my assistants Leiha and Kerri for all your help on this day and thanks to Lorena, the incredible Bridal Attendant!

It's always fun and interesting to do a traditional Chinese tea ceremony with a little modern twist. I think above all, Diana's friends and family had a great time and we happy to see them officially tie the knot!

I don't have a picture of them, but her favors were USB memory sticks. THAT is a favor that was whisked away!

Congratulations Diana and David!! I hope your wedding in Newport brings you many lovely memories all the way in Singapore!

The cake had a Phoenix and a Dragon on them, that coordinated with the menu cards.
We love that detail!
