Wedding Wednesday: Melissa and Rick - Boston epicenter Wedding
When Melissa and Rick got married, it was the perfect New England fall day. But weather reports that week prompted the bride to buy umbrellas and Wellies which we didn't need afterall!
I met Melissa and Rick through another one of my wonderful couples and it was obvious from our first meeting that they wanted to have the ultimate party!! The epicenter, Artists for Humanity, was the perfect Boston wedding venue for these city dwellers and how convenient that it was less than five minutes from their home as well.
Melissa has a great sense of style and decided on a fun and vibrant color palette of beet, orange, ochre and deep green. We created a great watercolor/Boston theme for their save the date and invitation set. We also created this wonderful backdrop for her dessert buffet made of hundreds of paper flowers. It was also used for some of the formals as well and we are thrilled that it had another purpose as well! Speaking of desserts, they had delicious treats for their guests ranging from maple - bacon donuts, Funfetti cupcakes, cute little macarons and baby pies! (You had me at maple-bacon!)
Congratulations Melissa and Rick! We couldn't be happier for you and hope you know we will always have baked goods for you!
