Thirsty Thursday: Great Thanksgiving Punch Recipes

thanksgiving punch recipes.jpg

Happy Thursday! We've been pretty lucky that this autumn in New England it's not been bitter cold. Yet. We know it will be here soon and before you know it, Thanksgiving will be here too! Today we are featuring some beautiful punch recipes. Punches are great for a crowd because you can make a large batch and let guests serve themselves. Because Thanksgiving usually involves children, we found some non-alcoholic punch recipes as well as the alcoholic versions. You can always have a bottle of something "spirited" on the side for guests to pour in as they please. Check out the recipes we collected and let us know in the comments if you "tested" any of them!

Apple Pie Punch - we have a soft spot for apple pie "anything" but a punch for the masses is a given that we will not just like it but LOVE it!

Kaffeelatsch Punch - this is a punch from the '60's that translates as "Coffee Milk". We find something very comforting about this retro punch. Maybe it's the dairy or maybe it's the bourbon. We'll let you decide.

Sparkling Cranberry Punch - this punch looks festive and fun and is so easy to make! Cranberries are easy to find and if you freeze a bag before they can help keep the punch cool!

Orange Pomegranate Sparkling Punch - this punch LOOKS like what Thanksgiving is supposed to be - warm, bright and inviting! There is something about oranges that always feel friendly and happy!

Sherbert Church Punch - I don't exactly remember the first time I had this punch but I still can remember the taste of this - sweet, slightly creamy and fizzy! We love the upgrade this recipe has been given to elevate the look of this delicious punch. If you want to serve something alcoholic on the side, what about some Pinnacle Rainbow Sherbert Vodka?

Coffee Eggnog Punch - Thanksgiving usually means seeing cartons of eggnog in the grocery store in every kind of flavor - pumpkin, sugar cookie and the list goes on and on! We love that this punch combines coffee and eggnog. We think this would be particularly nice if you have guests coming in the late morning who didn't get their coffee fix at home.
