Trending Tuesday: Unusual Wedding Boutonnières
So the bride has her wedding bouquet and the groom has his wedding boutonnière. What does "boutonnière" mean? It actually means "buttonhole" in French which is an appropriate name considering that this (usually) little floral decoration is placed right over the buttonhold of the left lapel of a man's jacket. If you are in the United Kingdom and ask where your boutonnière is, they would not know this term but ask for your buttonhole and you will get your floral adornment.
Speaking of "floral" doesn't always apply to a boutonnière! There are many variations on the boutonnière and we've collected a few of our favorite and unusual. Leave us a comment and let us know which one is your favorite!
