Thirsty Thursday - Manzarita
Fall is in the air but its feeling like summer. Here's a drink to satisfy both the season and the weather. Manzarita (apple is manzana in spanish)
Ingredients:
- 1/2 lemon, quartered
- Pinch of ground cinnamon
- Ice
- 2 ounces blanco tequila
- 3/4 ounce elderflower liqueur
- 1 1/2 ounces apple juice
- 1 cinnamon stick
Directions:
In a cocktail shaker, muddle the lemon quarters with the ground cinnamon. Add ice and the tequila, elderflower liqueur and apple juice and shake well. Strain into an ice-filled rocks glass and garnish with the cinnamon stick.
