I know I said it a lot, but I don't think you realize how much of a pleasure and honor it was to work with you throughout our entire planning process. You kept the entire thing FUN and about US. You made took our ideas and executed them in a way we would never know how. You understood who we are, what we like, and you helped shape our wedding into the wonder that it was. YOU EVEN CALLED IN A BEAUTIFUL DAY OF SUNSHINE! I don't know many wedding planners that have THAT kind of pull... :)

There were so many different aspects to this wedding (family histories, 100% out of town guests, a million different vendors from all over New England, and an OCD bride who knew what she wanted), and you juggled them all with grace and poise. You not only made the entire 13 months we planned with you an absolute breeze, you made the wedding day stress free and comfortable. Knowing you were there for anything that could have happened was a comfort, and even though nothing did happen (at least, that we know of), knowing you were there was such a comfort. When the buses didn't show up at one of the houses, Donna was on it. When I had a killer stomach ache, Donna was there with ginger ale and bread, when Donna knew we liked cake, she had 3 pieces of each flavor waiting for us in our hotel room on our wedding night. You are fabulous, and I cannot describe how amazing you are.

You took care in our lives, our relationship, and our families. You took note that my brother was a vegetarian, and made sure he was comfortable. It's not only your incredible visions and impeccable execution that make you great; its the little things you do like bringing homemade strawberry shortcake to our meetings, or offering to drive into Southie during rush hour traffic because you know we get out of work late and our weekends are busy that make you rise above. I honestly don't know what we would have done without you. You are truly a great friend, and a phenomenal wedding planner. It's a good thing I have a lot of friends getting married... because I know this won’t be the last time you hear from us.

Early in the planning process when we told my parents that we were going to be using a wedding planner they both said "how come? can't we just do it all?" ...and after the wedding, they both said "thank GOD you hired Donna." It was absolutely the most beautiful wedding, and we could not have done it without you.
